Arrival to Buenos Aires International Airport. Private transfer to Be Jardín Escondido Hotel Buenos Aires. Five-time Academy Award winner Francis Ford Coppola resided at this property while filming his movie Tetro, released in 2009. The filmmaker was enchanted by the house, the neighborhood and Buenos Aires and decided to share this unique experience with travelers from around the world. Be Jardín Escondido offers guests a stylish and inviting retreat in the heart of Buenos Aires’s at Palermo.

Day 2 - Morning Tour Southern Buenos Aires. Evening Casa Coupage Experience

Today we will visit Plaza de Mayo, the city’s foundational site. Here we’ll find the Pink House, Presidential Palace, the Cabildo town hall, and the Neoclassical-styled Metropolitan Cathedral, the resting place of Argentina’s founding father, José de San Martín.

Next San Telmo, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. It used to be a residential district favored by the upper class until late 19th century. The area was marginalized until the 1970s when many artists and artisans came to make it their home. Nowadays, thanks to its amazing architecture and hip atmosphere, this ancient neighborhood is really blossoming. We walk its cobbled streets, where the city’s colonial past seems to come back to life. Take a stop at Plaza Dorrego, best known for its traditional antiques fair, held every Sunday, along with the local market.

Onward to La Boca, one of the city’s most authentic and charming neighborhoods. It is a working-class district, heavily shaped by Italian immigrants who came in the last quarter of the 19th century. Here, we will make a special visit to the revered Caminito Street. It sums up everything that gives La Boca its distinctive spirit: the strong passion for soccer, the heavy presence of art and color, and the tango-esque atmosphere. Finally, we`ll pass through Puerto Madero, the latest addition to the city’s barrios. In 1991, its huge warehouses and silos were remodeled and redesigned. Its delightful riverside setting has become home and playground for the young and successful Porteños.

Casa Coupage - 7 Couse Dinner Experience. This evening learn about the breadth of Argentine wine with an expert sommelier as your guide. Casa Coupage is a unique space where you can discover and interpret wine paired with delicious Argentinian modern food in a truly personal atmosphere. Casa Coupage offers an haute-cuisine venue for Argentine as well as international patrons. “The wine is a noble beverage that reaches its best expression when shared. That’s why we created an exclusive meeting point where a personal relationship with the wine can be developed, together with people who share the same passion” - Santiago (Santi) Mymicopulo. The concept itself is irresistibly delicious: dinner is held in a charming dining room of a late 19th-century house. Seasonal first and main courses are each accompanied with a specially selected wine, allowing for both a comparative wine tasting and an optimal food pairing. The sommelier of the house guides the experience and provides background information regarding the specific terroir, variety of grape, and winemaker.

Macuco Trail. A first approach to the Atlantic forest and its fauna on one of the least visited circuits of the Iguazú National Park. With a total distance of 7km, this walk allows visitors to discover the wilder side of this popular park at their own pace. A smaller waterfall of 20 meters, the Salto Arrechea, and the natural pool that forms at its feet marks the end of the way. Admire the views from above and below the San Martín, Bossetti and Dos Hermanas waterfalls, each set-in lush vegetation. We recommend heading out early from the hotel in order to enjoy these circuits before the crowds arrive, taking a gentle stroll along 3.5 km of walkways.

The Devils’s Throat is the most famous rapid of the falls at Iguazú. Allow yourself to be awe-inspired by the most impressive cascade of the Iguazú Falls, with a total drop of some 275 feet (84meters). Walk a little over a kilometre on the boardwalks that cross the Upper River Iguazú, appreciating the jungle scenery. Enjoy bird watching the many Swifts at sunset darting from their nests behind the waterfall.

Day 8 - Humahuaca Gorge

The Humahuaca Gorge has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here, the landscape and the colours of the hills merge with the equally colourful villages that inhabit this area. This tour is about social contact and learning about ancient cultures and part of the route was even originally on the Camino de Inca (Inca Trail). This road has been a commercial trading route for over 10,000 years.

Early morning, we head north by private vehicle and drive to the Humahuaca Gorge. We will first arrive in the beautiful town of Purmamarca where we can spot the famous Seven Colours Hill. We will have some free time here to visit its emblematic church and the artisan's market. Afterwards, we will continue towards Tilcara to visit its archaeological site of Pukara de Tilcara. This is a pre-hispanic fortification located at the top of a hill overlooking the town of Tilcara. It was originally built by the Omaguaca people and the ruins you can see here were originally their houses, workshops, plazas and ceremonial buildings. It is an especially important place to learn about the culture and rituals of ancient civilizations. Here you can also visit a botanical garden showcasing native cactus and a museum with over 5,000 valuable historical pieces from various Indian cultures.

Northward bound, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn, we enjoy amazing landscapes and finally arrive at the colonial city of Humahuaca. This charming city offers amazing views, picturesque narrow streets of adobe houses. We will visit its historic centre to view the Cathedral, Cabildo and the Independence Monument. After lunch and some time to enjoy its atmosphere and amazing views, we will start our way back to the city of Salta visiting Uquia's church and making a stop in Maimara to take photos of nature’s veritable canvas of the Painter's Palette Hill. Returning to your hotel late evening.
