My husband and I had the trip of a lifetime. The highlights were Galapagos Islands, Mashpi Lodge, Machu Picchu, Iguazu Falls, and Buenos Aires. Our travel specialist, Jason, helped me design our trip to get the most out of each area we wanted to go to with activities that matched our lifestyle. He took into consideration our budget, length of travel, activity level, and interests. The accommodations arranged for us were above our expectations and our travel between countries went smoothly. The tour guide or contact person for each location was always waiting for us at our destination. They escorted us to the hotel, airports, and everywhere that was scheduled in our itinerary. We never felt “on our own” which for us is what we requested since we had never traveled in South America. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and explained everything to us, even while driving in the car to places of interest. The drivers were also very amazing and reliable.

My most memorable part of the trip was seeing the hummingbirds and other tropical birds at Mashpi Lodge. The amount and uniqueness of tropical birds were amazing and definitely nothing I will ever see in the U.S. To conclude, on our last day in Buenos Aires, we went to a gaucho ranch called Estancia El Ombú de Areco. We loved it. It was a relaxing day with barbecue, horse rides, and time to enjoy the outdoors. It felt like we were with family.”
