“Thank you TLA for providing the most amazing experience for my son and I. TLA went above and beyond good service. We planned our trip to the Peruvian Amazon and Machu Picchu with TLA months ago but when we went to visit Cusco it just happened to be right in the middle of the labor strikes. These are not things you can predict when you are planning a trip to another country and can hinder your vacation if you don’t have an amazing and experienced company like TLA helping you out. As we started on our hike with our guide, Freddy (who was fantastic), we kept running into other guides who were walking alone as their guests had not arrived due to the labor strike in Cusco on the 18th. But my son and I were just getting started on our Inca Trail adventure and there was only one reason for that. Totally Latin America had remained on top of this situation from the moment the strike discussions started. They mobilized to get us on the train a day earlier from previously planned so my son and I could experience one of the most beautiful and important places we’ve ever seen. From the Peruvian Amazon cruise aboard the Aqua Nera which was absolutely incredible which I would highly recommend for all ages, to our excellent time in Cusco, to the unimaginable experience that is Machu Picchu, the folks at TLA were fantastic. We will never forget it. Well, I won’t anyway, let’s hope the 15-year-old doesn’t either.”

“Just returned home today. Excellent adventure….city, island, jungle and trekking a bit….great combo. Hotels were great and coordination of drivers and simplicity of moving around was fantastic. Communication with liaisons was especially a nice touch. Could not have asked for more. Also, Pabel, who we were guided by on the Inca Trail and other days was excellent and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the future. Big appreciation to him. “We had a wonderful trip – Peru is amazing. I only wish we had more time to explore. The hotels and the food were excellent (alpaca meat and ceviche were great). Also, the guides were professional and spoke good English. The vehicles were comfortable and big enough for us and our luggage, and the drivers were very good. Julio (in Cusco and Sacred Valley) was the best guide I ever met! It was a little strange to travel with all the restrictions, but I think we succeed together to do our best! To see Machu Picchu without crowds of people was really fantastic! We hope to plan our next trip with you – Argentina and Chile. Thank you very much!”
