I first went to South America in 2018 when I spent a year backpacking as a solo female traveller in a clockwise loop from Brazil to Colombia. Each city, town, or village in each country I visited left me in awe of its culture, far-reaching heritage, and most of all, its joyful spirit. I was so inspired to share the wonders of South America with the world, I decided I wanted to become a travel writer by the trip’s end. Fast-forward a few years and I joined Totally Latin America’s team as the Travelogue writer. Drawing from my first-hand knowledge of South America and my passion for its landscapes, people, and cultures, my purpose is to write articles for TLA that inform and inspire readers to fall in love with this incredible continent as deeply as I have.
