Location: Located on the outskirts of Aguas Calientes, the small village below Machu Picchu. 1 minute from the train station, and 30 minutes from Machu Picchu.

Overview: An intimate luxury hotel in sprawling Andean style village within the secluded 12 acres of exquisite beauty, where guests follow stone pathways to their rooms, located in comfortable one- or two-story whitewashed casitas.

However, this hotel is more than just a hotel! Within the grounds and included within the price the hotel offers guided nature and twighlight walks, bird watching, they have the largest private collection of orchids in South America, they have a sanctuary dedicated to the preservation of the endangered Spectacled Bear and!! they also grow their own tea and coffee onsite; which is free for the guests.

Accommodations:  There is a combination of 85 rooms and suites set in individual casitas throughout the ground. From the standard rooms through to the large suites each room is decorated in a warm and luxurious manner. The higher end suites are equiped with large fire places, areas for relaxing, a private dip pool and inside and outside showers. All rooms have 100 percent cotton sheets with hypoallergenic pillows, andean style slippers made from recycled materials and a complete set of environmentally friendly toiletries.

Restaurants: The hotel offers guests creative fusion cuisine from the restaurant that over-looks the lush views of the Urubamba River and the surrounding mountains.

Services: Andean Sauna with fresh water river dip pool, full spa services, yoga classes, nature walks, bird watching, Spectacled Bear sanctuary, orchid collection, free tea and coffee grown within the hotel grounds, free luggage collection and a gift shop.

Totally Peru Verdict: Possibly our favorite hotel in all of Peru! This really is more than just a hotel, and is a destination in it's self. You will not want to leave! The higher end suites offer the guests 6 star luxury and are truly spectacular.
